Day 1: Arrival & Hotel Transfer.
On arrival, you will be met by our company representative and your driver/guide at Entebbe Airport and transfer to your lodge / hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Mabamba Swamp tour & Transfer to Kampala
Enjoy breakfast and drive to the harbour to catch the boat. Life jackets will be provided and embark on the boat ride across the lake with eye-catching views of Entebbe, the airport, fishermen and lots of birds, especially as you get closer to the swamps.

Arrive Mabamba or Bussi, and get off the bigger boat and enter the smaller canoes for the Mabamba Swamps. The canoes carry a maximum of 3 persons excluding the driver and guide.

After some minutes in the canoe, the papyrus reeds open up into the big grassy swamps. Most of the times, this is where the Shoebill can be spotted.  After about two hours, you will return to the harbour and back to Entebbe.

Have lunch and later transfer to Kampala city. Dinner and overnight at Cassia Lodge or Skyz Hotel Naguru.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Have breakfast and embark on the transfer to Murchison Falls national Park on a 15 days Gorilla trekking Uganda tours.

You will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en-route for rhino tracking as it is the only place to see rhinos in Uganda.

Have lunch and proceed to Murchison entering the park through Kichumbanyobo gate. Visit the top of the falls and then proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Heritage Safari Lodge or Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Game drive and launch cruise
You will enjoy early morning breakfast and then go for a game drive where you will spot various wildlife including elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others.

In the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction – the unique Murchison Falls as well as the River Nile with its streaming hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, and large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Enjoy breakfast and start your long, scenic journey to Kibale national park. This is a full day drive and you will have lunch en-route in Fort portal city. Proceed to Kibale arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest guest house.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest
Wake up to an early morning breakfast and head out to the park headquarters to attend briefing and later embark on the trek together with the park ranger guides.

Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda.

This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primates coupled with chimpanzees.

After trekking, you will return to the lodge for lunch and later visit Bigodi wetland area for a great nature walk and remarkable bird life! Spend your evening relaxing at the lodge. Dinner and overnight as above.

Day 7: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast and make your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park driving across the lush green and scenic country side and small towns.

You will visit Amabere G’anyinamwiru stalagmites in Fort Portal as well as the crater lakes and an incredible hike of Kyeganywa hill.

Have lunch and continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving late afternoon and relax for the evening. Dinner and overnight at Park View Safari Lodge or Katara Lodge.

Day 8: Explore Ishasha Sector – Queen Elizabeth
You will have breakfast at the lodge and transfer for a full day exploration of the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park for fantastic game viewing including the tree climbing lions.

he Ishasha sector is less affected by mass tourism and has a higher concentration of the wildlife! Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for a good swim and catch the sunset as you enjoy a cold beer! Dinner and overnight at the lodge as above.

Day 9: Game drive and Launch Cruise
You will go for an early morning a game drive in the Kasenyi sector, you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards among others.

Return to the lodge for late breakfast, in the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel famous for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa! You will also see crocodiles among other wildlife on your 15 Days Uganda Safari.

The cruise will also enrich you with various water birds and other bird species along the sandbanks. Return for Dinner and overnight as above.

Day 10: Transfer to Bwindi
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with a stopover for lunch en-route in Kabale town. Proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge or Four Gorillas Lodge.

Day 11: Gorilla trekking – Bwindi
You will have early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guide and later head into the forest trekking until you encounter the mountain gorillas. This could take 4-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.

On finding them, you will be allowed to spend one hour with these gentle giants and later return and transfer back to the lodge where you will unwind, have dinner and stay overnight as above.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale where you will arrive well in time for Lunch.

Enjoy lunch in Kabale and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi where you will embark on a boat cruise visiting the different islands while enjoying the magnificent scenery and a lot of bird-life.

You will encounter the local people and get to know about their lives as they display their craftsmanship and weaving skills for ladies. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Rock Resort, Arcadia Cottages or Birdnest@Bunyonyi

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP, Game drive and boat ride.
You will have an early morning breakfast and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park where you will arrive well in time for lunch.

Enjoy lunch at the lodge and later go for an afternoon boat ride where you will encounter a number of birds and enjoy the experience! Return for dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock or Mihingo Lodge.

Day 14: Game drive and Transfer back to Entebbe
Enjoy early morning game drive; the park is home to herds of Impala, as well as the more uncommon Topi, Eland, and Klipspringer. Burchells Zebra and buffalo also graze these areas.

Return to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch, then drive back to Entebbe with a stopover at the equator for photography and the equator experience. Proceed to Entebbe arriving in the evening marking the last field day of your 15 Days Uganda Safari. Dinner and overnight at 2 Friends Beach Hotel or Best Western Premier Hotel.

Day 15: Airport Transfer and departure
Have breakfast at leisure and later transfer to the airport for your onward flight marking the end of this 15 Days Uganda Safari. If you have time, you can visit the zoo in Entebbe (Uganda Wildlife Education Center) or enjoy a walk at the beach before leaving for the airport
