If there’s one thing Cindy Crawford loves about summer, it’s time spent at the cottage.
On Thursday, the 56-year-old supermodel took to her Instagram stories to give her 6.6 million followers another look into her glamorous lake life.
In the photo, the mother-of-two stood barefoot on a dock overlooking a peaceful, sparkling lake. She donned a flowy beige and black animal print skirt and a cozy black sweatshirt.
The bombshell wore her chestnut brown locks in loose, natural waves, and soaked up the post-rain sun without an ounce of makeup.
“The calm after the storm,” the model wrote while tagging her husband, Rande Gerber, whom she’s been married to since 1998.
Although Crawford hasn’t officially revealed her location, her family has a cottage in Muskoka, Ont. and often vacation in the Canadian destination for much of the summer.
Social followers of the Crawford clan will know that the famous family loves to spend the warmer months in Canadian cottage country — and the model isn’t one to shy away from showing fans her picture perfect lake life.
A few days ago, the star shared a videos of her driving a boat along the water in navy swimsuit coverup and a black baseball hat.
“Back on that lake life,” the model captioned the post, while a fan commented: “Aye, aye, captain Cindy! I must say, lake life looks good on you. Seriously girl. This is stunning.”
Crawford and Gerber built their luxurious Ontario cottage in 2008, and to this day you can find them paddle boarding, tubing, and mixing up margaritas on the dock.
But the model isn’t the only celeb to set up camp in the Canadian north. Justin Bieber, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Tom Hanks, Shania Twain and more are known to frequent the Muskokaswhich is a two hour drive from Toronto and is known to be as be as exclusive or beautiful as the Hamptons.
